promptaro is a macOS teleprompter and speaking practice app for meetings, rehearsals, and recording sessions. This page is the production support URL for App Store Connect.
Restore Purchases
Open Settings in promptaro and use Restore Purchases from the unlock section.
This works for monthly and yearly subscriptions associated with the same Apple Account.
Permissions
- Camera: required for Recording and camera-assisted Practice views.
- Microphone: required for speech-following and recording audio.
- Speech Recognition: required for live word tracking and pacing guidance.
- Local Network: only required for Remote and Director features on the same Wi-Fi network.
Troubleshooting
- If speech tracking is not working, confirm Microphone and Speech Recognition are enabled in System Settings.
- If camera preview is unavailable, confirm Camera access is enabled for promptaro.
- If remote features are unavailable, verify both devices are on the same local network.
